Dharmendra, a veteran Bollywood actor, has been in the industry for almost six decades, starting with his debut in the 1960s. The actor renowned for his performances in films such as Sholay, Phool Aur Patthar, and Chupke Chupke will turn 90 in December. Dharmendra is recovering well at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai, confirms his daughter Esha Deol.

Esha Deol shared a post on Instagram, confirming that her father Dharmendra is stable and recovering. "The media seems to be in overdrive and spreading false news. My father is stable and recovering. We request everyone to give our family privacy. Thank you for the prayers for papas speedy recovery."

Dharmendra was visited by his wife Hema Malini, son Sunny Deol, and other family members throughout the day on Monday. Shah Rukh and Aryan's cars were spotted at the hospital on Monday night, and multiple photographers captured their visit. Salman Khan, who was very close to the veteran actor visited him earlier in the evening. Govinda was also spotted arriving at the hospital late Monday night.

All About Dharmendra's Life

Dharmendra made his Hindi film debut with Dil Bhi Tera Hum Bhi Tere in 1960, after winning a talent contest organised by Filmfare magazine the year before. Dharmendra Kewal Krishan Deol was born on December 8, 1935, in Nasrali, a village in Ludhiana district, Punjab, British India, as the son of a school headmaster and a housewife. Dharmendra and Prakash Kaur married in 1954. He later married actress Hema Malini in the early 1980s, but never divorced his first wife.

The veteran star is regarded as one of the most prominent actors in Indian film, with a successful career spanning five to six decades. During his early career, he was regarded as one of the most attractive men in the world, and he is commonly regarded as the 'He-Man' of Bollywood.
