Diljit Dosanjh Controversy: The recently released teaser for Diljit Dosanjh's Sardaar Ji 3 confirmed that Pakistani actress Hania Aamir has a major role, ending considerable mystery over her involvement. In the immediate aftermath of the Pahalgam terror attack, Diljit Dosanjh was heavily criticised for working with her. The Punjabi singer hasn't spoken to the problem directly, but his latest remark about 'looking beyond nations' has gone viral on social media platforms.

Diljit Dosanjh posted a Grammy interview with Recording Academy President Panos A. Panay two days ago, in which he stated that music bridges national boundaries and that he believes people should put Mother Earth first. The Punjabi singer turned actor discussed how art knows no bounds in the video, which he posted on his YouTube page two days ago.

Diljit Dosanjh said in a part in the video, "Countries are at war, and we don't have control over these things. But I believe music is something that unites nations. I feel blessed to be part of something that spreads love across nations." The singer further added, "I think we need to look beyond nations and focus on Mother Earth. All these borders are part of the same Mother Earth, and I belong to her."

Diljit Dosanjh also quoted a line by his Guru - 'Hum aadmi hain ek daami,' which translates to 'We humans are here only for a brief moment. We are here for very limited time, we should not waste our time fighting with each other.'

Sardaarji 3, starring Diljit Dosanjh, was originally supposed to open on Indian theaters on June 27 but will not be doing so. It will only be released internationally. In the trailer for the movie, which Diljit posted on social media, he can be seen romancing Hania.

The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) President, BN Tiwari, has blasted Diljit for his collaboration with Hania and called for a total prohibition on all of his upcoming ventures. For the unversed, India strengthened its ban on Pakistani artists and content, including OTT and social media, following the latest terror attack in Pahalgam. After this, Indian users were unable to access Pakistani artists' social media profiles.
