Sardaar Ji 3 Controversy: Actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh is facing criticisms over his upcoming horror comedy movie Sardaar Ji 3 which features Pakistani actress Hania Aamir. The involvement of Pakistani artists including Nasir Chinyoti, Daniel Khawar and Saleem Albela in the film has stirred outrage on social media in the wake of the recent tragic Pahalgam terror attack. Not only netizens but also the film industry body has raised objections to Hania's casting in Sardaar Ji 3. BN Tiwari, President of the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE), has called out Diljit for working with Hania and has also demanded a complete ban on all his upcoming projects.

Reacting to Diljit and Hania's collaboration, FWICE President, shared how the actor has hurt Indian sentiment. In a statement to Hindustan Times, BN Tiwari said, “By working with a Pakistani actor, Diljit has hurt Indian sentiments. He has disrespected the sentiments of the nation and insulted the sacrifice of our brave soldiers. His preference for Pakistani talent over Indian artists raises serious questions about his loyalty and priorities. By collaborating with a Pakistani actor, Diljit has hurt Indian sentiments, disrespected the nation, and insulted the sacrifices of our brave soldiers."

FWICE Demands Ban On Diljit Dosanjh’s All Projects

As the film is not releasing in India for now and will be released overseas only if any future plans to do so, the FWICE president warned that it would meet with a ban.

In the same interview, he added, "We have heard that the film is not being released in India. But if they plan to release it, we will ban it. For now, they are releasing overseas only. That being said, Diljit working with a Pakistani actor is something we are not ready to overlook. We have called for a strict ban on all upcoming films, songs or any other sort of projects. We will also issue a formal letter on the same today. Along with Diljit, we have also called for a ban on the producers of the film regarding all their upcoming films."
