Naga Chaitanya, known for his work in movies such as Thandel, Ye Maaya Chesave, and Manam, recently discussed his relationship with Sobhita Dhulipala. The couple, who started dating in 2022, were married in a traditional ceremony at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad in December 2024. This marks Chaitanya's second marriage, as he was previously wed to Samantha Ruth Prabhu from 2017 to 2021. The 38-year-old actor has now revealed details about his initial meeting with Sobhita during a recent interview.

Naga Chaitanya recently appeared on Jagapathi Babu's Zee5 talk show, Jayammu Nischayammuraa, where he shared details about the unconventional start to his relationship with Sobhita Dhulipala. Their love story didn't begin on a film set but rather on Instagram, sparked by a simple emoji that eventually blossomed into a real-life romance. Chaitanya said, "We met on Instagram. I never thought that I would meet my partner there. I was aware of her work. One day, when I posted about Shoyu (her cloud kitchen), she commented with an emoji. I started talking to her and soon we met." The actor further stated that Sobhita is his biggest support system. During a fun rapid-fire round, when asked what he can't live without, Chaitanya immediately replied, "Sobhita, my wife!"

Furthermore, he also revealed an incident involving Sobhita's reaction to a song from his first 100 crore movie, Thandel. He laughed and said, "She was angry with me because of the song 'Bujji Thalli'. Actually, it's a nickname she gave me. She thought I had asked the director (Chandoo Mondeti) to use it in the film. She didn't talk to me for a few days - but why would I do that?"

Naga Chaitanya’s Work Front

Naga Chaitanya recently faced off with the success of his latest Telugu movie Thandel. The movie also starred Sai Pallavi in the lead role and was based on a true story of fishermen accidentally drifting into Pakistani waters. Currently, he is shooting a mythological thriller with Karthik Dandu.

Sobhita Dhulipala’s Work Front

Sobhita Dhulipala is well known for her work in the web series Made in Heaven. The actress was last seen in the OTT released Hindi family drama Love Sitara. She also appeared in the Hollywood film Monkey Man last year. She is yet to officially announce any upcoming project.
