Though Vijay officially launched Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) in 2024, his move into politics was long-foreshadowed through 'Easter eggs' in his final films. Fans have specifically pointed to his 2024 blockbuster, GOAT, as a masterful bit of manifestation for his eventual political success. A specific scene from GOAT has now gone viral following TVK's massive 2026 election win.
In the footage, Vijay’s character drives a car with a highly symbolic number plate: ‘TN 07 CM 2026’. At the time of the film's release, Vijay had already announced his intention to quit cinema and contest for the government.

Vinoth directorial missed its January release and is currently in limbo following a certification refusal by the CBFC.
