Dies Irae Box Office Collection Day 4: Dies Irae, the Malayalam horror thriller starring Pranav Mohanlal and directed by Rahul Sadasivan, has enjoyed a strong start at the box office. The film was released worldwide on 31st October 2025 and has completed four days in cinemas. Dies Irae has been produced by Chakravarthy Ramachandra and S. Sashikanth under the banners of Night Shift Studios and YNOT Studios. Rahul Sadasivan is already well recognised for delivering popular horror films like Bhoothakaalam and Bramayugam, and this new film is said to exist in the same supernatural storyline, creating a shared universe that is slowly expanding within Malayalam cinema.
According to early estimates reported by the box office tracking website Sacnilk, the movie has collected around Rs 19.96 crore net in India. This is considered a promising performance for a Malayalam horror film. Malayalam movie Dies Irae earned Rs 4.7 crore on its opening Friday, reflecting solid audience interest. The box office numbers increased to Rs 5.7 crore on Saturday, followed by an even better Rs 6.35 crore on Sunday, making it a successful opening weekend. However, as usually seen with most films, the collections dropped on Monday due to weekday slowdown, bringing in around Rs 3.21 crore. Even with the Monday dip, the film’s four-day total has reached nearly Rs 20 crore across India. The Malayalam movie faces strong box office clash with Prabhas’ recently released Baahubali: the Epic.
