Reunion Alert! Akshay Kumar and John Abraham are all set to excite fans with their on-screen fun chemistry. The duo has previously worked together in films like Garam Masala, Desi Boyz, and Housefull 2. According to the latest buzz, the actors will share screen space once again in the sequel to Dishoom. Interestingly, the sequel to the 2016 film starring John and Varun Dhawan is in the works and joining them this time is Akshay Kumar. In the original movie, the Hera Pheri actor made a special appearance.

As reported by Filmfare, the makers of Dishoom are planning to make the sequel bigger with an expanded cast and Akshay Kumar has reportedly agreed to be a part of the movie.
"The Dishoom sequel has been overdue for many years now. The team behind the 2016 hit wanted to make this film for a while now but their plan to go bigger and bolder was just not able to materialise. But with Akshay Kumar agreeing to be part of the sequel, things seem to be falling into place," the source said.

All About Dishoom Movie
The 2016 cop action comedy movie was directed by Rohit Dhawan and backed by Sajid Nadiadwala under his banner. Dishoom starred John Abraham and Varun Dhawan in the lead alongside Jacqueline Fernandez, Akshaye Khanna and Saqib Saleem. The actors including Parineeti Chopra, Akshay Kumar and Nargis Fakhri made special appearances in the movie. The story centres around two cops with different skills set assigned a task to rescue a kidnapped Indian cricketer from a cricket bookie.
Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar is gearing up for Housefull 5, which is also produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The movie also features Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Sonam Bajwa, Chitrangada Singh, Fardeen Khan, Shreyas Talpade, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Nana Patekar, among many others. It is slated to release in theatres on June 6. He also has Bhoot Bangla and Hera Pheri 3 in the pipeline.
