Thudarum OTT Release Date: Thudarum, a Malayalam crime thriller movie starring Mohanlal, has been breaking records at the box office since its release on April 25. Achieving commercial success, the movie has become the third-highest-grossing Malayalam film. Directed by Tharun Moorthy, the film also stars Shobana in a lead role. The story follows a taxi driver, Shanmughan, who treasures one thing: his Ambassador car. But his life takes a dark turn as he becomes entangled in a web of crime. After earlier reports hinted at the film’s OTT release, the makers have now officially confirmed the streaming details.

Thudarum OTT Release Date

Mohanlal starrer Thudarum will be available for streaming on JioHotstar from May 30, following a successful five-week run at the box office. The news was announced by the streaming platform on X by stating, "Thudarum will be streaming from 30 May only on JioHotstar.' Check out the post below:

Thudarum Box Office Report

After a 30-day run, the Malayalam movie has secured Rs 118.65 crore at the box office and stands at Rs 230.75 crore at the global collection. Looking at first week earnings, Mohanlal starrer made Rs 51.4 crore but saw a dip in the second week by 31.23%. It collected Rs 35.35 crore. The third week also saw a drop and scored Rs 20.8 crore, but still, fans continued to shower the movie with love and made it successful at the box office, as per the Sacnilk report.

Thudarum Cast And Plot

The movie centres on the life of Shanmughan, a former stunt performer in movies who has turned into a taxi driver in Perunad Ranni. He finds solace in family and love for his vintage Ambassador car. What seems to be a smooth life takes a drastic turn after his son, Pavi takes the car without his permission and then gets into trouble involving a police investigation. As the plot develops, things take a serious turn. This gripping storyline of family drama has left fans impressed. They are eagerly awaiting watching online.

Besides Mohanlal in the lead role, the movie stars Shobana as his wife Lalitha, Thomas Mathew as his son Pavi, along with Farhaan Faasil, Maniyanpilla Raju, Binu Pappu, Irshad Ali, Aarsha Chandini Baiju, Sangeeth Prathap and Krishna Prabha in key roles.
