Rajpal Yadav was granted interim bail from Tihar Jail in the Rs 9 crore rupee debt case. Several well-known celebrities came forward to support the actor after he turned himself in in a ten-year-old cheque bounce case. He received assistance from actors like Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn, and numerous other celebrities. He even had film offers from a few producers.

Rajpal Yadav has finally opened up about the support he received from the film fraternity. Speaking to ET, he shared, "This matter first surfaced in the media in 2012. Reports said, 'Rajpal Yadav is a fraud'. Since then, I've gotten at least 10 films every year. If I were a fraud, why would anyone work with me? The industry doesn't need to prove they're on my side; I believe everyone is."

Rajpal Yadav refused to name people from the industry who helped in the cheque bounce case. "I appreciate all help, but I don't want sympathy," he said.

Rajpal Yadav expressed gratitude to the film industry and audiences for their ongoing support after his release in a separate conversation with PTI. Speaking to the news agency from his ancestral village in the Shahjahanpur district that he was overwhelmed by the love he experienced throughout this time.

Rajpal Yadav went on to say that he would not be interacting with the media for the next two days because of a family wedding, but that he will answer questions in a news conference later.
