Shefali Jariwala’s sudden demise not only shook the industry but also her fan following across the country. The actress took her last breath on the night of June 27 and her last rites were held on Friday. As per viral videos, she was wrapped in red cloth and her husband, Parag Tyagi, was seen heavily crying during her rites. He gave a final kiss to his late wife before bidding her goodbye forever. The actress’s mother was seen grieving in front of the mortal remains of the late actress.
After Shefali’s funeral, Parag appeared before the media and requested privacy. In his first statement since his wife’s demise, the actor said, “Meri pari ke liye pray kijiyega aap sab log, please.” He was surrounded by police personnel when he requested the media to pray for Shefali’s soul. Several people reacted to the videos and shared her thoughts and prayers to Parag. A user said, “Leave him alone yr Give him space he has just lost his love one Come on man have some respect.” Another wrote, “This is so sad. My deepest condolences.” A comment read, “Rest in peace.”
Many from the industry attended the last rites, but Shefali’s ex-husband, Harmeet Singh, was missing from the ceremony. She later took to her Instagram, “Being away in Europe right now, it’s painful for me not to be able to be there for the last rites. Gone far too soon. I pray to the Almighty for her soul to rest in peace, and strength to the family during this unimaginable time.”

Shefali Jariwala gained fame after her remix music video Kaanta Laga was released in the 2000s. She has then been called ‘Kaanta Laga Girl’. The late had a special appearance in the movie Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, which starred Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar in the leads. She then appeared in Nach Baliye alongside her husband Parag Tyagi and then became a contestant in Bigg Boss 13.
