The excitement surrounding Excel Entertainment and Trigger Happy Studios’ 120 Bahadur is at its peak. After the trailer set the right tone for this fierce, inspiring, and untold chapter of India’s biggest war, where 120 brave Indian soldiers stood their ground against 3,000 Chinese troops in the Battle of Rezang La, everyone is eagerly waiting to watch this incredible true story of our soldiers unfold on the big screen. Now, the countdown has begun, with the film just three days away from its release.

Taking to their social media, the makers shared a thrilling poster of 120 Bahadur as they kick-started the three-day countdown to the film’s release. They captioned it— "63 years ago today, history was written at Rezang La. Based on the incredible true story, watch this story unfold on the big screen in 3 days. #120Bahadur, in cinemas on 21st November."

120 Bahadur recounts the extraordinary courage of 120 Indian soldiers from the 13 Kumaon Regiment, who fought in the legendary Battle of Rezang La during the 1962 war. Farhan Akhtar plays the role of Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, PVC, who, along with his men, stood against all odds in one of the most defining battles of Indian military history. At its heart, one unwavering line echoes through the film: “Hum Peechhe Nahin Hatenge.”

Directed by Razneesh ‘Razy’ Ghai and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar (Excel Entertainment), and Amit Chandrra (Trigger Happy Studios), the film is an Excel Entertainment production and releases in cinemas on 21st November 2025.

The first-look poster of 120 Bahadur dropped on November 18, 2024, marking the 62nd anniversary of the Battle of Rezang La. Farhan Akhtar returns to acting after three years, playing Major Shaitan Singh Bhati. The film boasts a stellar team: music by Amit Trivedi, lyrics by Javed Akhtar, cinematography by Tetsuo Nagata, and editing by Rameshwar S. Bhagat. For authenticity, the makers recreated snowy landscapes and hired an Oscar-winning action team. The cast, including Farhan, underwent military-style training for the intense battle scenes.
