Fatima Sana Shaikh is an emerging star with the potential to become one of the most loved actors in the film fraternity. By delivering extraordinary performances in movies like Dangal, Ajeeb Daastaans, Ludo and Dhak Dhak, the actress has developed a huge fanbase. She will soon be seen in Anurag Basu’s directorial, Metro In Dino. Amid the promotions of her movie, the actress got candid during an interview about dealing with insecurities and constantly being in people’s eyes.
Fatima Sana Shaikh expressed the struggle of being in a multistarrer movie and told Hindustan Times, "It's very easy to get insecure when there are so many actors and you don't know what the script is. You can be insecure about how long your track is and what others are doing." However, the actress also showed faith in her director and said that she trusts Anurag Basu’s vision. "We all trust him, and we have this belief that whatever time our character gets will have a good arc, and you won't be forgotten," she added.

Metro In Dino is a story that deals with the concept of having a relationship in today’s time. Talking about relationships, the Dangal girl recently made headlines for allegedly dating actor Vijay Varma. As a public figure, it is difficult to keep your personal life under wraps. Sharing her thoughts on how she deals with unwanted attention from people in her private space, she said, "It affects at one point. Initially, it did. But then I realised it's not that important, because someone thinks about someone else for just one second. After that, they are thinking about themselves. 'Who is thinking about me?' is what most people wonder."

The actress mentioned that she has learned to block the gossip revolving around her life. "I have realised this. Woh Instagram ya Reddit par type kar lega 'oh iski life me yeh chal raha hai'. But eventually, he is also worried about his own life. I don't give that much importance now," she expressed.
Along with Fatima Sana Shaikh, Metro In Dino also stars Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Ali Fazal, Konkona Sen Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi, Neena Gupta, and Anupam Kher. Anurag Basu’s much-awaited movie is slated for release on July 4, 2025.
