G Dragon is a celebrated Kpop singer with a huge fan base. With songs like Bang Bang Bang, Fantastic Baby, and If You, the Korean singer has garnered a lot of love from people across nations. Recently, his Bangkok leg of his “Übermensch” world tour was cancelled quite suddenly without any proper explanation. Just weeks before the concert, G Dragon’s agency Galaxy Corporation dropped a one-line statement, “Due to unforeseen circumstances, the concert is cancelled.” Without any explanation, real reason or a sincere apology, the agency left fans hanging in the middle.
G Dragon’s fans were super excited about the concert and had already booked flight tickets and made hotel accommodations. This vague announcement left them disappointed. The fandom expressed strong dissatisfaction with the agency’s response. According to the fandom, the postponement notice was posted on the AEG ASIA account on July 7 but was later deleted.
On July 15, 2025, his fandom released an official statement and said, “Even after the previous statement demanding operational improvements from his agency and the truck protest, their indifferent response to the cancellation of the Bangkok concert has continued, so we are extending the protest.”

After several days of making the announcement, Galaxy Corporation finally broke its silence on the matter. According to them, the extreme heat and safety concerns were the “unforeseen circumstances” that were mentioned in the earlier statement. As per a report in Koreaboo, G Dragon’s agency mentioned, “This cancellation was due to the unprecedented and record-breaking heatwave, which has led to ongoing cases of heatstroke. Given that the Rajamangala National Stadium is an outdoor venue, the decision was made in light of these conditions. The health and safety of fans was our top priority in making this decision.”
Fans criticised the agency’s decision to focus on external responses rather than communicating with the fandom directly. They also criticised the timing of the cancellation as several people had already booked the tickets and hotel rooms just to attend the concert, which has resulted in their financial loss.
