Ganesh Chaturthi 2025: Bollywood celebrities, including Ranbir Kapoor, welcomed Lord Ganesha at their homes and celebrated the festivities of Ganesh Chaturthi with the utmost devotion and joy. After hosting Bappa for five days, Ranbir, along with his mother Neetu Kapoor, bid a heartwarming farewell to the deity. They were seen performing Ganpati Visarjan rituals. Several videos and photos have surfaced online, showing Ranbir holding Lord Ganesha’s idol with his mother by his side. The mother-son duo were seen fully immersed in the Ganpati Visarjan celebrations.
Ranbir Kapoor Bids Farewell To Bappa With Neetu Kapoor
In the viral videos, Ranbir Kapoor was seen stepping out of the car while carefully holding the Lord Ganesha idol. Neetu Kapoor walked beside him during Gapati Visarjan. The Animal actor, dressed in a blue kurta and white pyjama, looked dapper in traditional attire, while his mother, Neetu Kapoor, wore a white ethnic suit. They were seen chanting ‘Ganpati Bappa Morya’.

On Wednesday, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir welcomed Ganpati Bappa home. The actress shared the photo of Bappa on her Instagram Story and wrote, “Happy Ganesh Chaturthi! Wishing love, luck and prosperity to you and your loved ones."
Few days ago, Ranbir was spotted at Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani’s residence for the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations.

On the work front, Ranbir Kapoor is gearing up for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War alongside Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. The film is billed to be an epic love story set against the backdrop of war. It has been reported that Bhansali will feature an intense face-off between Ranbir and Vicky in his upcoming directorial. The film is slated to release in 2026. Recently, Ranbir's moustache look from the sets took the internet by storm. His latest outing has generated even more anticipation for his role in Love and War.
He will also be seen in Nitesh Tiwari’s two-part epic film, Ramayana. He will be playing the role of Lord Ram in the movies alongside Sai Pallavi, Yash, Sunny Deol and others.
