Housefull 5 is all set for its release. Makers of the upcoming movie are on a promotional spree and it has been receiving love online, as evident from the reactions. The film stars Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Shreyas Talpade, Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri and Jacqueline Fernandez in lead roles. The movie is scheduled to hit the theatres on June 6, 2025. Now, ahead of the movie's much-anticipated release, CBFC has ordered major cuts in Akshay Kumar-starrer movie.

CBFC orders major cuts in Houseful 5

According to Bollywood Hungama, a segment containing ‘sensual visuals’ was trimmed by two seconds. On the other hand, a scene showcasing ‘champagne coming’ was reduced in length.

- U/A 16+ certificate granted with modifications
- Changes made:
- Replaced words: 'item' and 'haram'
- Dialogue cut at 1 hour 53 minutes
- Modified line: 'nikal dungi'

Housefull 5 is set to make history as the first Bollywood film to release with two versions, each featuring a different climax. Despite the dual endings, both versions will have the same runtime of 165 minutes and 48 seconds. It's uncertain whether this unique approach will give the film an edge at the box office, but it's certainly generating buzz.
