'How Do You Stop Loving Them?' Saba Azad Opens Up On Break-Up With Imaad Shah, Says 'We Kept The Good Parts...'

Actress Saba Azad, who is currently in a relationship with Hrithik Roshan, recently opened up on her breakup with Imaad Shah. Saba Azad and Imaad Shah, who parted ways in 2020, have transformed their romantic relationship into a strong, platonic friendship that feels like family. They've found that their bond works better without romance, allowing them to be less judgmental and more supportive of each other.

Explaining her bond with ex-boyfriend Imaad Shah, Saba said, "Unless someone has treated you badly, how do you stop loving them? It transforms into something else — a beautiful, platonic friendship where you always have each other’s back. We were like, to hell with that, it’s our family. There was no way I was going to let Imz out of my life. We were very clear that we’d be friends forever — grow old together as friends."

Imaad, who is the son of actors Naseeruddin Shah and Ratna Pathak, also opened up about his breakup with Saba. He said, "When we split, many said we shouldn’t meet for a while. But it felt more like an evolution than an ending. By the time it was officially over, there wasn’t much heartache."

We became easier on each other, less judgmental and way better friends." Imaad added, "It’s almost like we kept the good parts of our relationship and filtered out the rest."
