Hrithik Roshan has carved a niche in the industry despite being a star kid. He has created a distinct era with his phenomenal dance moves and performances. From Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai, Koi Mil Gaya, Jodhaa Akbar, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara to Super 30, the actor has showcased his acting prowess. In Dil Chahta Hai, Aamir played the role of Akash Malhotra, a wealthy, witty young man who lives for the moment and is known for his friendship. He starred opposite Saif Ali Khan as Sameer, Akshaye Khanna as Siddarth and Preity Zinta as Shalini, his love interest in the movie. Directed by Farhan Akhtar and released in 2001, the film captivated audiences with its storyline about friendship.
In 2009, Aamir headlined 3 Idiots, directed by Rajkumar Hirani. He delivered the iconic role of Ranchoddas Shamaldas Chanchad aka Rancho. Besides him, the film starred R Madhavan, Sharman Joshi and Kareena Kapoor in lead roles. The story centres around the friendship of three students at an Indian engineering college, while satirically criticising the inherent paternalism within the country's education system.
Both of Aamir Khan's characters struck a chord with the audiences and made the movies relatable must-watches.
Meanwhile, Hrithik Roshan is set to reprise his role as Major Kabir in War 2. Directed by Ayan Mukerji and backed under the YRF Spy Universe banner. The film promises to bring an intense face-off between Hrithik and Jr NTR. Kiara Advani also adds her charm to the film. War 2 is scheduled to hit theatres on August 14.
