Chitrangada Singh recently took a stand for the celebrities who get trolled for cosmetic surgeries. The Housefull 5 actress shared his views on how stars, especially women, who are being criticised for trying to enhance their appearance. She stated that it is absolutely fine if some goes for cosmetic surgery and further mentioned that it is unnecessary to assassinate someone’s character because of it. Chitrangada stated that she does not approve such kind of criticism at all.
In an interview with Varinder Chawla for his YouTube channel, Chitrangada Singh said “I think if somebody is in a visual medium and is using something to enhance themselves, it's absolutely fine. We are evolving so I feel that unnecessary assassinating somebody's whole character over it, I don't approve of that at all.”
Singh said, “It's okay if you have a constructive criticism but trolling is so unnecessary. Sometimes they say very demeaning stuff, and it's very hurtful, I am shocked sometimes.”
Chitrangada Singh is known for her work in Desi Boyz, Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi, Inkaar, Gaslight, Gabbar is Back, I, Me aur Main, Bob Biswas, Baazaar and Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster 3 to name a few.
Chitrangada Singh is currently seen in Housefull 5. The film hit the silver screens on June 6. The movie also stars Sonam Bajwa, Akshay Kumar, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sanjay Dutt, Nargis Fakhri, Nana Patekar, Riteish Deshmukh, Fardeen Khan, Dino Morea, Abhishek Bachchan and Jackie Shroff in key roles. It has been directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Firuzi Khan. Housefull 5 has a runtime of 2 hours and 45 minutes. The movie has a box office collection of Rs 158.25 crore after 11 days of release. The film has two endings Housefull 5 A and Housefull 5B.

Apart from Housefull 5, Chitrangada Singh was also seen in the popular Netflix show Khakee: The Bengal Chapter. It also starred Prosenjit Chatterjee, Jeet, Aakanksha Singh, Ritwik Bhowmik and Mahaakshay Chakraborty in pivotal roles.
