Comedian and actor Vir Das recently shared his witty review on Aamir Khan’s latest release Sitaare Zameen Par. The Delhi Belly actor has pointed out all the good points about the film, starting from its content, performances to its comic timings. Vir appreciated the makers bringing something fresh and meaningful content to the screen. He especially emphasised more on the comedy timings in the movie. In his tweet, Vir Das urged his fans to watch Sitaare Zameen Par in theatres.

Vir Das tweeted, “Folks! Go see #SitaareZameenPar Not just because it’s REALLY good and breezy. Not just because the ensemble wins your heart. Not just because it’s someone of massive stature constantly sharing his platform for meaningful content. Not just because it’s a departure from the action overload. But also because it’s genuinely funny. In a comedy scene one party has to hold power and drive. That’s basic comedy 101. The best comedy surprises you with that choice. It wears its heart on its sleeve and gives power, prominence, and punch lines to those comedy normally doesn’t. That makes it WAY funnier. Go see it! In theatres now. @AKPPL_Official.”

Sitaare Zameen Par was released in theatres on June 20, 2025. The film also stars Aamir Khan, Genelia Deshmukh, Simran Mangeshkar, Gopi Krishnan Varma, Rishi Shahani, Dolly Ahluwalia and Rishabh Jain in key roles. It has been directed by RS Prasanna and produced by Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao, Aparna Purohit and Ravi Bhagchandka. Sitaare Zameen Par opened at the box office, earning Rs 11.50 crore.

Coming back to Vir Das, the actor has done movies and shows like Go Goa Gone, Delhi Belly, Vir Das: Landing, Vir Das: For India, Badmaash Company, Call Me Bae, Revolver Rani and Hasmukh to name a few. Vir Das will be next seen in Netflix’s Vir Das: Fool Volume. It is slated to be released on July 18. He will also feature in Go Goa Gone 2. The movie also features Abhishek Banerjee, Saif Ali Khan, Radhika Madan, Kunal Kemmu, Fahim Fazli, Anand Tiwari and Arun Kushwah in key roles. It has been directed by Krishna DK and Raj Nidimoru.
