Dhurandhar, starring Ranveer Singh, has become the highest grossing Indian movie of the year 2025. The movie not only dominated the theatres domestically, it did ruled cinemas overseas as well. The film is being praised for its star cast as well as the songs, especially Shararat, featuring Krystle D'souza and Ayesha Khan. The latest ones to hype up the viral song are Jonas Brothers who took to social media and grooved to Shararat.
Nick took to his Instagram handle and shared a short clip of himself dancing to the tunes of Shararat. His brothers Kevin and Joe also joined him in background. "New pre show hype song unlocked," Nich added the caption.
Soon after Nick's video went viral, Ranveer Singh dropped a heartfelt reaction in the comments section. Ranveer commented, "Hahahahahaa JIJUUUU JAAANE DEEEEE (laughing face and red heart emoticons)." To this Jonas reacted, "Bhai! Dhurandhar title track is up next! Love to you and the family! Let's go!"
About Dhurandhar: Dhurandhar is a 2025 Indian Hindi-language spy action thriller written, co-produced, and directed by Aditya Dhar. Backed by Jyoti Deshpande’s Jio Studios and Aditya and Lokesh Dhar’s B62 Studios, the film features an ensemble cast led by Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi, with Manav Gohil, Danish Pandor, Saumya Tandon, Gaurav Gera and Naveen Kaushik in supporting roles. It serves as the first instalment of a planned two-part series.
The film follows a decade-long Indian intelligence mission centred on an undercover operative infiltrating Karachi’s criminal and political underworld. Principal photography was carried out between July 2024 and October 2025 across Thailand, Punjab, Mumbai, Ladakh, and Himachal Pradesh. The music is composed by Shashwat Sachdev, with cinematography by Vikash Nowlakha and editing by Shivkumar V. Panicker. While classified as fiction by the CBFC, Dhurandhar draws inspiration from real-life geopolitical events, including the 1999 IC-814 hijacking, the 2001 Indian Parliament attack, the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks and R&AW’s infiltration during Operation Lyari.
