Jatadhara New Poster: Shilpa Shirodkar is making sure to make a powerful comeback in Telugu cinema with Jatadhara. She recently made a stint in the reality show Bigg Boss 18 and is now back to films. Directed by Venkat Kalyan and Abhishek Jaiswal, the supernatural thriller also stars Sonakshi Sinha. Following the teaser release, the makers of the film have unveiled the first look poster of Shilpa and introduced her character, Shobha, who is defined more by greed.

Jatadhara New Poster: Shilpa Shirodkar As Shobha

In the poster, Shirodkar is seen in the role of a tantrik, wearing a black saree while sitting in front of a fire pit with her mouth wide open and her tongue sticking out. Her intense and fierce look has sent chills down the spine. The new poster has generated even more anticipation for the Jatadhara movie. Sharing the poster on Thursday on Instagram, the makers wrote, "She isn't just driven by greed, she defines it. Presenting @shilpashirodkar73 as Shobha."

Soon after Shilpa's poster unveiling, her fans and friends from the industry dropped their reactions in the comments section.

Gauahar Khan wrote,"So excited..yayyyy."

Shilpa Shirodkar's friend Karan Veer Mehra posted, "Super duper."

Chum Darang also joined him and commented, "Shilpa ma’am."

One user wrote, "Omg after a long time we r gonna see you on screen again."

Talking about her role, Shirodkar said in a statement, “I am so happy and thrilled to be a part of Jatadhara. It's a film that will take the audience on a supernatural and mysterious ride. The visuals are incredible, and the storyline will definitely leave an impact. Working with Prerna Arora has been a delight. She’s very detail-oriented and passionate about storytelling.”

Describing more about her character, she stated, "My character is quite complex and intriguing. I have put my heart and soul into bringing her to life. It feels amazing to play such a unique role, and I’m excited for everyone to watch it on screen."

Jatadhara marks the Telugu debut of Sonakshi Sinha. Besides Shilpa and Sonakshi, the film also stars Divya Khossla, Ravi Prakash, Indira Krishna, Naveen Neni, Shreya Sharma, Subhalekha Sudhakar, and Rajeev Kanakala.
