Kannappa Update: The highly anticipated mythological movie Kannappa starring Vishnu Manchu, has been creating waves since its announcement. From its star-studded cast to its intriguing storyline, the makers have already captured the audience's attention. Kannappa tells the story of one of the greatest devotees of Lord Shiva. The Telugu drama is set to hit theatres on June 27. Ahead of the much-awaited theatrical release, Vishnu Manchu shared exciting details about the movie's runtime and the duration of special cameos by Prabhas, Mohanlal, Akshay Kumar, and others.
As per the India Today report, Vishnu revealed that even after editing, Prabhas has a 30-minute extended cameo screen time. The actor will play the role of Rudra, who is significantly involved in Kannappa’s transformative journey from an atheist to a devotee of Lord Shiva. The viewers will be able to see Kalki actor's significant sequences with Vishnu and veteran actor Mohan Babu, who is going to portray Mahadeva Shasthri. The actor also confirmed that the film’s final runtime is 3 hours and 10 minutes, locked after post-production editing.

Besides Prabhas, Mohanlal as Kirata will have 15 minutes of screen time while Akshay Kumar and Kajal Aggarwal will appear in special cameos as Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati.
Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and project produced under 24 Frames Factory and AVA Entertainment. Kannappa promises to be a cinematic spectacle with powerful action-packed sequences and an emotionally charged storyline. Vishnu Manchu will be seen in a titular role, taking centre stage as Thinnadu, a fearless warrior and an atheist hunter who transforms into Lord Shiva's ultimate devotee. Joining him in this journey, the actors in the supporting roles include Mohan Babu, R. Sarathkumar, Arpit Ranka, Kaushal Manda, Rahul Madhav, Devaraj, Mukesh Rishi, Brahmanandam,[3] Raghu Babu, Preity Mukhundhan and Madhoo.
The makers are set to unveil the new devotional track Sri-Kala-Hasti on May 28. What makes this song special is that it has been sung by Vishnu’s daughters, Ariaana Manchu and Viviana Manchu, with music composed by Stephen Devassy.
