Kantara Chapter 1 Box Office Collection Day 4: Kantara Chapter 1 is booming at the box office in India. Written by Rishab Shetty, the period action drama is a prequel to the 2022 sleeper blockbuster Kantara. It takes place a millennium before the events of the first movie. The Kannda movie also features Jayaram, Gulshan Devaiah, and Rukmini Vasanth. Kantara Chapter 1 managed to boost its collections and occupancy on Sunday after maintaining a swift pace of domestic collections for the first three days of its release.
Kantara Chapter 1 brought in a total of Rs 162.85 crore domestically during its first three days at the Indian box office. The film made an estimated Rs 55 crore net domestically on Saturday, which was little less than 20% more than its Friday earnings of Rs 46 crore. Starting with the morning broadcasts on Sunday, it demonstrated a faster rate of collections. According to Sacnilk, the movie brought in Rs 223.75 crore domestically over its first weekend after earning Rs 61.5 crore net on Sunday.
Kantara Chapter 1 has been performing well in theaters all throughout India. On Sunday, the Kannada version's afternoon and evening performances in different districts of Karnataka had an astounding 98–99% occupancy rate.

Kantara BEATS KGF, Lokah Chapter 1, They Call Him OG
Kantara Chapter 1 surpassed the total receipts of a few recent high-profile movies on Sunday, such as Lokah Chapter 1 (Rs 153 crore), They Call Him OG (Rs 179 crore), and the recently released Sitaare Zameen Par (Rs 167 crore). However, Kantara Chapter 1's greatest victory was outpacing KGF Chapter 1's domestic receipts (Rs 185 crore).
Kantara Chapter 1 has surpassed Yash's KGF Chapter 1 (Rs 237 crore globally), according to Sacnilk, to become the third-highest-grossing Kannada film ever. It currently ranks third, behind only Kantara (Rs 408 crore) and KGF Chapter 2 (Rs 1,215 crore).
On October 2, Kantara Chapter 1 was released in theaters across the globe in a number of regional languages, including Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada, in addition to all of the major languages, including Hindi and English.
