Lokah Chapter 1 Box Office Collection Day 7: Lokah: Chapter 1 - Chandra narrates the tale of a yakshi (vampire) named Chandra (Kalyani Priyadarshan), who has been invited from Sweden to Bengaluru on a mission by the Moothon (played by Mammootty), the head of a group of superhumans with abilities. Sunny (Naslen), her neighbour, falls in love with her right away but ends up getting more than he expected when he finds himself in a tight spot. A police officer named Nachiyappa (Sandy) appears motivated to thwart Chandra's goal. Sandy, Naslen, and Kalyani Priyadarshan play the main characters in this Malayalam film, which continues to perform at the box office.

Lokah Chapter 1 earned an estimated Rs 6.75 crore net in India on Wednesday. After earning Rs 2.7 crore on August 28th, the movie earned Rs 4 crore on Friday, Rs 7.6 crore, and Rs 10.1 crore over the weekend thanks to positive word-of-mouth. It made Rs 7.2 crore on Monday and Rs 7.65 crore on Tuesday, continuing its upward trajectory even during the week.

Lokah Chapter 1 has made 46 crore in India after seven days, bringing it one step closer to the Rs 50 crore milestone, as per sacnilk. The movie's overall occupancy on its seventh day was 19.35% in Telugu and 48.49% in Malayalam. These figures demonstrate that its popularity has been mostly attributed to Malayalam viewers in particular.

Lokah Chapter 1 earned Rs 93.75 crore globally and Rs 39.25 crore in India in just six days. Globally, it had surpassed Rs 101 crore as of Wednesday night. It surpasses both Keerthy Suresh's Mahanati and Anushka Shetty's Rudhramadevi as the highest-grossing female-led film in South India.

The movie encountered controversy during its prosperous run because of the dialogue that infuriated Kannadigas. Many found it offensive, so the creators reacted quickly.

"It has come to our attention that a dialogue delivered by one of the characters in our film Lokah: Chaper 1 has unintentionally hurt the sentiments of people from Karnataka."
