Maa Trailer: The trailer of Kajol’s much-anticipated movie Maa is out now. It opens with Kajol driving, while her daughter is sitting in the back seat. As a dead body hits their car, Kajol and her daughter are scared. They reach an old mansion where Kajol advises her not to go anywhere without permission. The daughter asks the girl living in the house to show her the abandoned place. She initially disagrees with taking her there. Despite the hesitation, they go to the abandoned place. The girl says, "No one comes here, and everybody says rakshas lives here."
Kajol shared the trailer on Instagram and wrote, “Rakshak. Bhakshak. MAA.The protector. The destroyer.#MaaTrailer out now - link in bio In cinemas 27th June.#MaaTheFilm.”
The trailer features Kajol going extra miles to protect her daughter who is in the possession of Rakshas. However, in the end, she transforms into Maa Kali in order to break the demonic curse.
Maa has been directed by Vishal Furia and bankrolled by Ajay Devgn and Jyoti Deshpande. It has been co-produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak. The movie also stars Indraneil Sengupta, Kherin Sharma and Ronit Roy. It is about a mother who transforms into Maa Kali to end a demonic curse rooted in fear, blood, and betrayal. The movie will have its theatrical release on June 27, 2025.
