Maalik Trailer: Finally, the much-awaited trailer of Rajkummar Rao and Manushi Chhillar starrer Maalik is here. The movie is packed with action, adventure and romantic chaos. Maalik is a gripping story about a man's rise to power in the underworld, set against the backdrop of 1980s Allahabad. The trailer opens with Rajkummar Rao’s character, who though not born a maalik aspires to become one and rise through despite coming from an underprivileged background. It takes us deep into the gangster world of power, greed and rivalry.

Taking to Instagram Rajkummar Rao treated fans with the trailer video of Maalik along with a caption that read, "Janam se nahin Qismat se banega, majboor baap ka mazboot beta, Maalik."
The story revolves around how the son of a helpless father becomes powerful by entering the underworld and makes a new path for himself. The trailer kicks off with a visual of injured Rajkummar, who, if not by birth, wants to become Maalik by fate and is ready to take all the risks. These desires take a drastic turn with the entry of Saurabh Shukla. The intense battle begins between Rajkumar and Saurabh Shukla. The trailer features action-packed sequences and bloodshed in every scene of the film. The chemistry of Rajkumar and Manushi Chhillar seems fresh and compelling.

Directed by Pulkit, Maalik is slated to hit cinemas on July 11. This emotionally charged action drama is produced by Kumar Taurani under the Tips Films banner, along with Jay Shewakramani of Northern Lights Films. The movie also features a special cameo of Huma Qureshi with the song Dil Thaam Ke. The movie also stars Prosenjit Chatterjee, Saurabh Sachdeva, Anshumaan Pushkar, and Medha Shankar.
