Cine–serial actress Meera Vasudevan has announced divorce with her husband-cameraman Vipin Puthiyankam, a year after they tied the knot. The couple, who got married in Coimbatore last May, first met on the set of the hit TV serial Kudumba Vilakku. Vipin, originally from Palakkad, has had a notable presence in various TV serials and documentaries. According to her latest social media, Meera and Vipin had been living separately since August 2025.

Meera Vasudevan took to her Instagram handle and wrote, "I, actress Meera Vasudevan officially declare that I am now single since August 2025. I am at a most wonderful and peaceful phase of my life (sic)."

Meera, who recently concluded her third marriage, is a proud mother to son Ariha, born from her previous marriage to actor John Kokken. Earlier this year, she marked a significant milestone, celebrating 25 years in the entertainment industry with a heartfelt reflection on her journey as an actress and an artist. Though not a native of Kerala, Meera has carved a special niche for herself in the hearts of Malayali audiences, thanks to her impactful performances in meaningful roles.

Her journey in Malayalam cinema took off with the critically acclaimed Thanmatra, where she shared screens with Mohanlal under the direction of Blessy. Since then, her career has been a trajectory of success, with starring roles in multiple blockbuster films across various industries.
