Miley Cyrus recently opened up about her ex-beau Nick Jonas, while making an appearance on the Every Single Album podcast. Cyrus expressed her liking for Nick Jonas, stating "I like Nick; I'm into him." She further added, "He's now married with children and everything is good in life." Cyrus also nostalgically referenced the "Niley" ship name that fans had coined for the couple back in the day, playfully saying "Niley for life."

Miley Cyrus and Nick Jonas were in a relationship from June 2006 to December 2007. During their dating period, Nick's band, the Jonas Brothers, also opened for Miley on her Best of Both Worlds Tour. She described her breakup as "over" and "my life was over" in her book. After their breakup, Cyrus went on to date and marry actor Liam Hemsworth in 2018. Meanwhile, Jonas married actress Priyanka Chopra, with whom he's shared a happy marriage for seven years and a daughter named Malti.

Despite the passage of time, Cyrus's words showcased a positive and affectionate tone towards her ex-partner. Moreover, the Grammy-winning singer went on to refer to her and Nick’s ship name, which was used by their fans back in the day. She said, “Niley for life.”

During the podcast, Miley Cyrus shared the story behind her 2010 song Take Me Along from the album Can't Be Tamed. She revealed that it was inspired by her relationship with Nick Jonas. Cyrus recalled writing the track in bed before a concert, with her sister by her side. She candidly admitted that the song's emotions stemmed from her feelings about Jonas.
