Misri Movie Promotion: Actor Tiku Talsania and actress Manasi Parekh have landed in legal trouble after a video of them performing dangerous stunts on two-wheelers in Ahmedabad went viral. The clips, which were part of the promotional campaign for their upcoming Gujarati film Misri, were filmed on a busy city road without official permission. The videos showed the actors performing risky moves amid regular traffic, sparking widespread criticism online and prompting swift action from the Ahmedabad Traffic Police.
In one of the viral videos, Manasi can be seen striking the iconic Titanic pose while standing on the pillion seat of a moving bike. The rider, holding her hand, briefly lets go of the handle before quickly regaining control. Another clip shows Tiku Talsania standing upright while riding his bike through traffic. According to reports, these scenes were filmed on Ahmedabad’s crowded Science City Road. Soon after the clips circulated on social media, users slammed the actors for setting a poor example and endangering lives, calling their actions “irresponsible” and “stupidity in 4K.”

On the other hand, following the backlash, the Ahmedabad Traffic Police issued an official statement confirming that a case had been registered at the “A” Division Traffic Police Station under BNS Section 281 and Motor Vehicles Act Sections 177 and 184. The post stated that the actors were being booked for “recklessly and negligently driving vehicles at high speed on a public road in a manner endangering human life.” Officials further revealed that the film crew had not obtained prior permission to shoot the scenes on public roads. After questioning, both Tiku Talsania and two other cast members, Prem Gadhvi and Jesal Jadeja, were arrested. However, police clarified that since Manasi Parekh was only a pillion rider during the stunt, no direct action has been taken against her yet.

Later, the Ahmedabad Police released another video showing the actors apologising for their actions. In the clip, Tiku expressed regret, saying, “If any inconvenience was caused to the people, we are sorry.” The film’s producer, Sanjay Soni, also appeared before the authorities to give his statement. The incident has reignited discussions around celebrity responsibility and road safety, with many social media users urging actors to set better examples instead of risking public safety for publicity. Misri is set to release in cinemas on October 31, 2025.
