Mohit Suri added another feather in his cap after the release of his much-talked-about movie Saiyaara. With a script that resonated with the masses, amazing soundtracks and correct casting, director Mohit Suri outperformed his previous works. Saiyaara broke several box office records within the first week of its release and created a special place in every lover’s hearts. After the success of the movie, Mohit Suri has become the centre of attention and can be seen doing several interviews and making many public appearances.
It seems Mohit Suri decided to celebrate the success of his movie in a different way. Instead of heading out with friends to enjoy a lavish party, the director decided to seek blessings at Shree Mukteshwar Devalaya, a temple in Juhu. Later on, he was spotted attending a food organisation drive where he distributed bhog to the visitors. Mohit Suri was all smiles as he handed out gulaab jamuns to people standing in the queue.

The director wore a casual grey hoodie with denim shorts and sports shoes. Netizens were impressed with Mohit Suri’s gesture as they dropped heartfelt messages in the comment section. A person wrote, “Best director h.” Another one mentioned, “Congratulations karma is everything.” A third netizen said, “Very good it is great, Best.” One more person stated, “Man of the Moment! After a super-duper hit film- Saiyaara.”
Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda starrer Saiyaara rocked the theatre screens, domestically and overseas. According to Sacnilk, the movie earned Rs 4.25 crore on its 15th day, taking the India net collection to Rs 284.75 crore. This hints that the movie can soon enter the Rs 300 crore club. Reportedly, Saiyaara’s worldwide collection has crossed the Rs 440 crore mark, which is a huge number for a Bollywood romantic movie.

Till now, Mohit Suri's directorial has surpassed the lifetime collections of several major releases, including Kabir Singh (Rs 278 crore), Tiger 3 (Rs 276 crore), Dhoom 3 (Rs 271 crore), and Brahmastra Part One (Rs 241 crore). The movie is now close to overtaking Kalki AD 2898 AD (Rs 293 crore) and Sultan (Rs 300 crore).
