Muzammil Ibrahim Reveals He Was In Relationship With Deepika Padukone For Two Years: ‘We’d Talk Before…’

Indian actor and model Muzammil Ibrahim recently made some shocking revelations about his love life. The actor stated that he dated Deepika Padukone for two years when she moved to Mumbai. He mentioned that he was a public figure back then, but times have changed now. Muzammil further shared that Deepika was a very confident girl, as she was the daughter of former badminton player Prakash Padukone, which is why everyone knew her. He further claimed that before Deepika’s marriage, they would talk sometime.

In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Muzammil said, “We were in a relationship for two years.” The actor claimed that he was the first guy that Deepika met in Mumbai. He said, “She was very confident because she is Prakash Padukone’s daughter, so everyone knew about her.” Muzammil revealed that Deepkia was the one who asked him out and he was the one who broke up.

He further revealed, “I was a star at that time, she was not. She is a superstar now. Everyone knows her; nobody knows me. I am a big fan. I love watching her movies. She is a beautiful woman. She is doing so great, but the fact is what it is.” When asked if he remained in touch with female superstar, Muzammil said, “Before she got married, we would talk sometimes.”

“We were kids then. We would go on dates in a rickshaw in the rain. That was very cute. I had more money than her because I had started earning better. Then I bought a car and she was very happy about that. These things are very memorable because I have not been on a date in a rickshaw since then, and we were so happy even though we had no money,” he added.
