Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's new luxurious bungalow in Bandra, Mumbai, which had been under construction for a few years, has now finally been completed. Videos of the newly constructed house have been surfacing online, which Alia condemned, calling it a “clear invasion of privacy” and raising serious concerns over security. The couple, along with their daughter Raha and Ranbir's mother Neetu Kapoor, will soon be moving into the six-storey house, which is reportedly worth around Rs 250 crore. Adding excitement to the news, Ranbir's sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni gave an insight into the couple's new home. She revealed that she and her husband Bharat Sahni have one room there, located on Neetu’s floor, as her mother wants to keep them close.

Farah Khan’s recent vlog featured Riddhima and her family at their home. When the chorographer playfully asked Ranbir’s sister whether she has a floor to herself in the new house in Mumbai. Farah said, “Mumbai mein jo tum logon ka ghar ban raha hai, aapke liye ek floor rakha hai ki nahi?". In response, Riddhima shared, "I have a room there. I am going to be on my mother’s floor. So, there’s one room for me and Bharat, and one for Samara too. My mom wants to keep us close."

Recently, when a video of the property surfaced online, Alia Bhatt shared a statement about how videos are taken without permission. Her post read, "I understand that in a city like Mumbai, space is limited — sometimes the view from your window is another person’s home. But that does not give anyone the right to film private residences and push those videos online. A video of our home — still under construction — has been recorded and circulated by multiple publications, without our knowledge or consent. This is a clear invasion of privacy and a serious security issue. Filming or photographing someone's personal space without permission is not “content” — it's a violation. It should never be normalised."

The property, located in Mumbai’s upscale Pali Hill area, originally belonged to Ranbir’s grandparents, Raj Kapoor and Krishna Raj Kapoor and was later inherited by late actor Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor in 1980. The house has been under construction for several years, and Ranbir, Alia, and Neetu have often been spotted visiting the site.

Meanwhile, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni is set to make her film debut in Bollywood. She confirmed on Farah Khan's vlog that she will be starring in a film tentatively titled Dadi Ki Shaadi alongside Kapil Sharma. She was also seen in the Netflix show The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives.
