Nani’s The Paradise Spent Over 5 Months To Craft A Grand Set, Like Baahubali’s Mahishmati | Report

The Paradise, starring Nani has been making waves since its announcement. Srikanth Odela, the film's director, has made it one of India's most eagerly awaited productions. Nani and director Srikanth Odela, who previously worked together on the hit film Dasara, have collaborated once more on The Paradise. Even though the movie is supposed to be a huge cinematic extravaganza, the crew has managed to build a huge slum set, which was no easy feat. The start of the movie's timetable has also been confirmed by the director amid all of this.

The Paradise, directed by Srikanth Odela, has official started filming. The director made the announcement in a post that linked his upcoming project, The Paradise, to his previous hit, Dasara. He posted a photo of his hand sporting Dasara and The Paradise wristbands on social media. He added the caption, "#Schedulebegins#," to the picture.

The Paradise team together with the Direction Department, Action team, and Song Choreographers, the Art Department put forth a lot of effort to build a special set. Making the slums appear like a huge kingdom was a difficult task. Furthermore, it is incredibly challenging to recreate slums since they naturally grow, making use of all available area. Consequently, it was necessary to build the set so that multiple small areas could combine to create a large setup. It needed important settings for plot development, such as a huge arch in the center that symbolized the kingdom's palace. This project included a lot of study, model set construction, mock-ups, and the actual build. Two additional massive setups are in progress.

The production designer of The Paradise, Avinash Kolla, said, "The Paradise is a film that required a very distinct approach when it came to building sets. With the kind of backdrop the film explores as per the storyline, we needed to construct an enormous slum that would not only showcase the massive scale of the empire but also serve as a pivotal location in the narrative. It was indeed a challenge, we researched extensively and brainstormed a lot to execute it."
