Twinkle Khanna and Kajol have created a lot of negative buzz for their views on marriage and relationships on their talk show, Two Much With Kajol and Twinkle, which drew backlash at times. The hosts have now reacted to the criticism and clarified that their remarks were intended to be lighthearted. They also admitted that the show should have included a disclaimer from the beginning. Two Much With Kajol and Twinkle has now ended, but the bonus episodes shot after the original episodes had already started streaming.
In a recent bonus episode, Kajol and Twinkle Khanna addressed the backlash that they received for their views on marriage and relationships. During the episode, Kajol said, “Now it’s time for our next segment, which has gotten us into a lot of trouble. Here, opinions don’t matter as much as lighthearted teasing.” Then Twinkle added that they should have a disclaimer from the first episode of this segment. “And there’s a disclaimer, which we should have had from the first episode, that nothing we say in this segment should be taken seriously. Please don’t follow any of our advice in this segment,” she added.

One of the comments, which grabbed eyeballs, was included in the episode where Vicky Kaushal and Kriti Sanon joined them. During the This or That segment, a discussion unfolded when Kajol, who is married to Ajay Devgn, opened up about her belief that marriages should come with an expiry date and an option for renewal. Another controversy ignited when the two hosts defended infidelity. They argued that there is a difference between emotional and physical cheating. The conversation happened on the episode when Janhvi Kapoor and Karan Johar featured as guests. In the episode, Kajol and Twinkle said that for them, physical infidelity was “not a deal breaker.” Johar was convinced by their point. However, Janhvi shared a different point of view and replied, “No, the deal is broken.” Twinkle further added, “We’re in our 50s, she’s in her 20s, and she will get into this circle soon. She hasn’t seen the things we have seen. Raat gayi baat gayi (What’s happened, has happened).”

The latest bonus episode featured Indian cricketers Jemimah Rodrigues and Shafali Verma as guests. The show also featured guests-Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Sonakshi Sinha, Janhvi Kapoor, among others. Two Much With Kajol and Twinkle is now streaming on Prime Video.
