Smriti Mandhana-Palaash Muchhal Wedding Controversy: Smriti Mandhana and Palaash Muchhal’s ongoing wedding controversy has taken social media by storm. What was expected to be one of the biggest celebrity weddings of 2025 has instead turned into a swirl of delay, rumours, and unanswered questions. The couple, who have kept quiet for weeks, have now updated their Instagram bios and fans believe this small move could be the first sign of where things truly stand.

On November 28, 2025, followers noticed that both Smriti Mandhana and Palaash Muchhal had added the same evil eye emoji to their Instagram bios. Although neither of them has commented on their relationship or the constant gossip surrounding their wedding, this matching update immediately caught everyone’s attention. For many fans, the identical emojis suggest that the pair may still be on good terms. Others believe the update could be a subtle reaction to the intense scrutiny they have faced over the past few weeks. Since both sides have stayed silent, even a small social-media change is being treated as an important sign.

Why Was Smriti Mandhana-Palaash Muchhal’s Wedding Postponed?

According to earlier reports, the couple were supposed to get married on November 23, 2025. However, the ceremony was suddenly halted after Smriti’s father was rushed to hospital with heart-attack-like symptoms on the morning of the wedding. Due to the medical emergency, the families decided to postpone the event indefinitely. Around the same time, a Reddit post claiming that Palaash had allegedly cheated on Smriti the night before the wedding quickly went viral. Screenshots shared by a woman named Mary D’Costa suggested that Palaash had flirted with her, though he has not responded to these accusations. Smriti later deleted her engagement and pre-wedding photos, which led to even more speculation.
