Pavitra Punia has found love again. The actress celebrated the festival of lights, Diwali, with the guy's family. The 39-year-old mentioned that she would be traveling abroad since her partner and his family are currently there. She added that while she was a little sad to miss celebrating Diwali with her own family, she was also excited about spending time with his.
In a conversation with Hindustan Times, Pavitra Punia said, "Yes, I’ve found love again, and this year, Diwali is all the more special for me as I’ll be celebrating it with his family.” The 39-year-old adds, "I will be travelling to abroad as he and his family are there. I am a little sad that I won’t be celebrating Diwali width my family but also excited to be spending time with them."
"He is a businessman from USA, not at all an actor. A wonderful person, and kind. We’ve been going steady for quite some time now, and it feels right, she said.
Pavitra said, "I have never been away from home or my family on Diwali before. It’s going to feel strange not being around my parents and loved ones, decorating the house, doing the puja together. But at the same time, I’m really excited about this new phase of my life. It’s a big change and I’m looking forward to it with an open heart."
Punia was in a relationship with Eijaz Khan, whom she met during their stint in the popular reality show, Bigg Boss. Talking about his breakup from Pavitra Punia, Eijaz pointed out that when Punia was questioned about religion on a podcast, she "categorically denied" it as a factor, stating that religion was never an issue, both families were happy and it was already clear that neither of them needed to convert. Khan expressed frustration that a certain section of the media is misrepresenting her statement, quoting only a portion of it to create an issue where none exists.
