Thamma End Credit Scene: Shakti Shalini, the upcoming horror comedy from Maddock Films, has seen a major milestone with the official confirmation of Aneet Padda as the lead. As the studio announced that the movie, which was originally scheduled for release in 2025, will now open in theaters on December 24, 2026, the confirmation follows. Kiara Advani was once rumoured to be the lead in the horror comedy.

Thamma's theatrical print came with a special announcement that confirmed Aneet Padda's part. The entire purpose of delaying the release is to maximize audience reach and schedule the movie's premiere around the holidays. Shakti Shalini is now a part of Maddock Films' growing Horror Comedy Universe, a franchise that has steadily gained popularity thanks to earlier installments.

Thamma, which stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, released in theaters on October 21, 2025. The much-awaited movie, hit the big screens almost one year after Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor's Stree 2, is anticipated to feature a number of crossover characters from the Maddock's horror comedy universe. Dinesh Vijan's vampire-themed horror comedy has generated a lot of interest, but the post-credit scene that was reportedly leaked before Thamma's premiere has left the internet talking.

Thamma early screenings have yielded conflicting reviews. Many were skeptical of the way that Rashmika, Malaika Arora, and Nora Fatehi's skin show and catchy dance numbers in Thamma songs suggested that the makers were using the 'glam quotient' to draw viewers and viewers rather than horror comedy.

The film starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna has sold over a lakh tickets in both Hindi and Telugu throughout India with just one day to go. As per sacnilk report, Thamma made about Rs 3.09 crore and Rs 7.01 crore on its first day with block seats.
