Idli Kadai Trailer: Dhanush is all set to enthral audiences with his upcoming directorial Idli Kadai, in which he also plays the lead actor. After generating anticipation with posters and a teaser unveiling, the makers have finally released the much-awaited trailer, offering a deep glimpse into the story of a young man passionate about building a career in hotel management. However, his dreams create a rift with his father as he moves away from the family-run idli shack, a business beloved by the local community. At the trailer launch event, Dhanush requested fans to watch the film in theatres and make their own decision instead of believing early reviews ahead of the Idli Kadai release.
Idli Kadai: Dhanush Urges Fans Not To Believe Early Reviews
Addressing the audience at the Idli Kadai trailer launch, Dhanush cautioned fans about the reviews that often surface online even before the first screening is over. He was heard saying, "After the movie releases, there will be a few reviews that will come out at 8 am, when the film itself begins at 9 am. Please don’t believe such reviews. If a film releases at 9 am, one will get to know how the film is only at 12.30 pm. Even before the film ends, a lot of reviews will be put out. Please don’t believe such reviews. Please watch the film and make a decision or ask your friends who might have watched the film. Ask them and make a decision if whether you need to watch the film or not."
Dhanush further emphasised that healthy cinema depends on audiences making informed choices, as many livelihoods are tied to the success of films. He added, “Everybody’s films must do well. All the producers must do well. Not just in cinema, there are a lot of people outside it as well who are dependent on cinema. There are a lot of businesses that are dependent on cinema. Therefore, it is important that all films run successfully. This is in your hands. So, please watch the correct reviews and you decide how the film is. This is my request."
Nowadays 9am Film Release na 8am ku ellam oru sila reviews varum. Dont Believe those. You go, watch in Theatre & Decide.👌👏💥

Idli Kadai Trailer
The two-minute trailer introduces Murugan, played by Dhanush, who urges his father to buy an idli grinder to ease the batter preparation process. While he seeks modern efficiency, his father remains committed to traditional methods and focused on preserving authentic taste. The family's Idli shop is depicted as a beloved spot among locals. In pursuit of his dream, Murugan leaves the family business for hotel management under Ashwin (Arun Vijay), which escalates tension with his father. When Ashwin deceives him, Murugan is forced to return to his home and take on the responsibility of continuing his family's legacy. This leads to an intense conflict between Murugan and Ashwin, symbolising a clash between tradition and modernity. The film explores the emotionally charged theme, highlighting the ideological differences between generations over food and business.
