Pooja Hegde has an interesting lineup of films in store for her fans. She is currently basking in the success of her latest Tamil movie Retro, co-starring Suriya. Now, she is all set to reunite with Thalapathy Vijay for the highly anticipated upcoming movie Jana Nayagan, which is an emotional and special film as it marks Vijay's last movie. The duo previously worked together on the movie Beast in 2022. Sharing her excitement about working with him again, and for the last time, Pooja revealed that part of her is sad.
Pooja Hegde, in a recent conversation with The Times of India, shared about her Jana Nayagan reunion with Vijay and praised his persona on-screen and off-screen.
She said, "I’m very excited because of course it’s a Jodi that's kind of been a hit with Arabic Kuthu and Beast. And it's great working with him. He's just so professional and such a nice person. So, it's great to work with him because he just makes it very easy."
Being an admirer of Vijay's films, Pooja admitted that it's sad that this is his last film as an actor, which made the experience bittersweet for her.
The Retro actress added, "Of course, a part of me is sad that it's his last film because we love to watch his films, and I mean, I love his films. And more than anything, it should just be treated as a celebration."
About Jana Nayagan:The upcoming Tamil political action thriller, is being directed by H. Vinoth and produced by KVN Productions. The film stars Vijay, Pooja Hegde and Bobby Deol in the lead roles along with actors in key roles including Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, Narain, Priyamani, Shruti Haasan, Mamitha Baiju, Monisha Blessy and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar. This movie marks the last cinematic appearance of Vijay for his fans before he enters politics. It is his 69th movie as a lead actor. The movie is slated to release in January 2026.

About Pooja Hegde's Upcoming Movies
Apart from Jana Nayagan, she will be seen in Rajinikanth starrer Coolie and also in Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai alongside Varun Dhawan and Mrunal Thakur in the lead.
