Priyanka Chopra Grills Troll Who Criticised Her For Choosing Hot Dog Over Vada Pav: ‘Didn’t Know There Was…’

Priyanka Chopra has made a global name with her spectacular performance in both the Bollywood and Hollywood film industries. The actress had a recent Hollywood release, Heads of State, which also featured John Cena and Idris Elba. During one of the promotional events of the movie, Priyanka had a Q&A session with an American journalist, who asked her to make some food choices between International and Indian street food. When asked what she would prefer between empanadas and samosas, the actress said, “Depends on the mood”. Between enchiladas and chicken tikka masala, Priyanka Chopra replied, “Both”. When given a choice between hot dog and vada pav, the actress said, “I love vada pav, but hot dog is my weakness.”

But her responses didn’t sit well with online users. A food vlogger Pushpek Sidhu made a reaction video of Priyanka’s food choices, which went viral on social media. Now, Priyanka has reacted to the post and took to her Instagram stories to share her views. She wrote, “Wow Bro! Didn't know there was a syllabus for being desi. It's not that serious. #vadapav vs #hotdog.”

The food vlogger then reshared Priyanka’s story and wrote, “I eat samosa, I breathe samosa, I sleep samosa. My whole personality is samosa, in fact, my life revolves around samosa. For me, it's very serious @priyankachopra (crying laughing emoji).”

It also features John Cena, Idris Elba, Jack Quaid, Carla Gugino, Paddy Considine, Katrina Durden, Stephen Root, Amber Rose Revah and Sarah Niles in prominent roles. The action comedy drama has been directed by Ilya Naishuller and produced by Peter Safran, John Rickard.

Priyanka will be next seen in The Bluff. It also stars Karl Urban, Ismael Cruz Córdova, Temuera Morrison and Safia Oakley-Green in key roles. The movie has been directed by Frank E. Flowers.
