Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s recent reel from Dubai has caught the attention of netizens. There was a short glimpse of Samantha holding someone’s hand, social media users have believed that it is none other than her rumoured partner Raj Nidimoru, who accompanied her on her trip. After the video went viral, Nidimoru’s wife, Shhyamali De, shared a cryptic post on her Instagram stories about detachment that has fueled the relationship rumours further. The post reads, “Detachment is not that you should own nothing, but that nothing should own you - Ali Ibn Abi Talib.”

Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Raj Nidimoru have worked together as an actor and director duo in the second season of The Family Man and Citadel Honey Boney. Since earlier this year, Samantha and Raj’s relationship have been going around. When the actress shared photos from the World Pickleball League match on her Instagram account, featuring Raj, fans started speculating about their relationship. She is the owner of the pickleball team Chennai Super Champs. In the last few months, Samantha has been sharing several photos with Raj. Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Raj Nidimoru have never confirmed their relationship and denied it. 

While sharing the sneak peak from her Dubai Visit, the actress wrote on Instagram, “Dubai for a minute.” A user said, “Did you soft launch your new man?” Another wrote, “Can’t wait for her to officially announce the man behind that beautiful smile @samantharuthprabhuoffl.” A comment read, “I see your bf who shoot the video and standing in line. usne black jacket utar di par watch dekh li.” Another netizen wrote, “Raj uncle di aa hand.” 

On the work front, Samantha Ruth Prabhu will be next seen in Rakt Brahmand: The Bloody Kingdom. It has been produced by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK. The series also features Aditya Roy Kapur, Ali Fazal, Jaideep Ahlawat and Wamiqa Gabbi in key roles. The show will be released on Netflix.

There were reports that the project has been shelved, however, Raj and DK cleared the air. In a statement, they said, “This is an ambitious epic project unfolding over multiple schedules. We finished most of our indoor talkie schedule, and we are now prepping for the next big schedule that is mostly outdoors and action. The plan is to wait for the rains to clear for a suitable filming window. We also need lush greens for this period piece. So yeah, we are prepping for the next big action schedule.”
