Following a period away from Bollywood, Rajat Bedi returned to acting in Aryan Khan’s directorial debut web series, The Ba***ds of Bollywood. His appearance as Jaraj Saxena, a forgotten actor, has resonated with viewers, who have celebrated his work as a strong comeback. The premiere night of the series became an overnight sensation, not just for Bedi’s return, but also for his family.

Rajat Bedi’s daughter Vera Bedi particularly went viral on social media after her red carpet debut, with fans instantly drawing comparisons to a young Kareena Kapoor. The family's newfound spotlight has brought immense joy and surprise, with Rajat Bedi expressing gratitude for the love pouring in from around the world. During a recent interview with Hindustan Times, the actor admitted, “My whole family has got into the spotlight. It's not just me alone. My children are exposed right now because of me and the show. Talking about Vera and people comparing her to actress Kareena Kapoor, the actor said, “She is just overwhelmed... because that attention is not just from India, but global… People are calling from America, Canada, London, Dubai, everywhere. She is so simple, and she has never been exposed to anything like this. This is the first time in her life that she has gone to a red carpet event with her father. She is so simple.”

Further, during the interview, Rajat revealed that he has not talked to his children about how to deal with all the spotlight and becoming the centre of attention, but also mentioned that they know that they have to be humble and respectful. On being asked about his children’s careers, he expressed that the family has been planning to launch his son for now, and after getting all the spotlight, his daughter is also planning to join the acting world.
