Rajkummar Rao knows how to turn heads with his charm and acting calibre. With his upcoming movie Maalik’s release in two days, the star again made headlines, but for an adorable reason this time. The much-admired couple is ready to start a new chapter as the duo announced that actress Patralekhaa is pregnant. The pregnancy announcement is making everyone go in awe. Several Bollywood celebrities congratulated the couple in the comment section. But director Farah Khan's comment left everyone gushing.For the unversed, Rajkummar Rao married Patralekhaa in 2021 after dating for a long period. Since then, both of them have served several couple goals.
Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa shared a joint post and expressed their joy on social media. The post read, “Baby on the way (sic),” with the caption, “Elated.” This announcement quickly went viral, with several actors and members of the film fraternity flooding the comments section with love and best wishes for the soon-to-be parents.

Rajkummar Rao’s Maalik co-star Manushi Chhillar took to the comment section and dropped hearts and hugs emojis. Other actresses like Bhumi Pednekar, Huma Qureshi and soon-to-be mom Kiara Advani also dropped their love in the comment section.
Director Farah Khan also left a quirky comment and wrote, “Finally the news is out!! I was having a tough time keeping it to myself.. congratulations.” Social media influencer Uorfi Javed also expressed her warm regards and wrote, “Congratulations! so happy.” Sonakshi Sinha, Nushratt Bharuccha, Pulkit Samrat, Esha Gupta and other stars also rushed to drop their best wishes in the comment section.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Rajkummar Rao will next be seen in his upcoming movie Maalik, featuring Manushi Chhillar as well. The makers of Maalik recently dropped the trailer of the movie, which promises a strong story packed with action, adventure and romantic chaos. It is slated to be released on July 11, 2025.
