Punjabi singer Rajvir Jawanda, best known for hit songs like Kangani and Chakvi Mandeer, tragically passed away in a bike accident near Baddi, Himachal Pradesh, on September 27, 2025. The 33-year-old singer was riding his BMW R1250 GS Adventure when the fatal crash occurred. Only a month earlier, in August, Jawanda had purchased a brand-new BMW R1300 GS Adventure worth Rs 31 lakh and shared his excitement with fans on social media.

Meanwhile, the heartbreaking news has shocked fans and the Punjabi music industry, with tributes pouring in from all corners. A video of Rajvir Jawanda showing off his luxury bike has gone viral, intensifying conversations about India’s poor road safety standards and weak enforcement. Many have taken to social media to express their sorrow, while others have voiced anger over the country’s crumbling infrastructure and lack of accountability. According to reports, Jawanda was an avid biker who often shared glimpses of his rides with fans. However, the accident near Baddi has now become a grim reminder of how unsafe Indian roads can be.

Following the news of his death, thousands of fans expressed both grief and frustration online. One user wrote, “Rajvir Jawanda bought a bike worth Rs 31 lakh, but that didn’t keep him safe. The problem is our roads, not the riders. RIP brother.” Another fan shared on X (formerly Twitter), “Every day we lose someone to poor road safety. No matter how many accidents happen, authorities never take strict action. We need better roads, proper enforcement, and awareness.” These posts reflect a growing concern about India’s alarming rate of road accidents and the lack of improvement in safety measures. A user tagged the National Highways Authority of India and wrote, “Why isn’t anyone talking about the terrible condition of the Pinjore-Nalagarh highway? This isn’t an accident, it’s negligence.”
