Rajvir Jawanda's sudden demise has shocked the entire Punjabi entertainment industry. The Punjabi singer and actor's loved ones are condoling his demise on social media. Diljit Dosanjh too paid homage to Rajvir Jawanda on his Instagram story. On Wednesday evening, the Amar Singh Chamkila actor posted a throwback photo of Rajvir Jawanda from his trip to the Golden Temple in Amritsar along with 'Waheguru' written on it in Punjabi.  Diljit Dosanjh wrote nothing more, implying that the terrible loss has left even him numb. 

Rajvir Jawanda passed away at 10:55 AM on Wednesday after an 11-day battle for survival. The singer breathed his last from multiple organ failure following a serious bike accident in Himachal Pradesh.

According to the hospital's statement, Rajvir Jawanda passed away at Fortis Hospital in Mohali after being taken there in critical condition with serious spinal injuries and brain damage. The statement read - "Despite extensive medical support and continuous monitoring by the Critical Care and Neurosurgery teams, he succumbed to multiple organ failure this morning. Our deepest condolences to his family and fans."

Rajvir Jawanda's Last Rites

Rajvir Jawanda's final ceremonies will take place in his hometown in Punjab's Ludhiana district. Ammy Virk shared a tribute on Instagram in honour of late singer. Pona, a village in Jagraon, Ludhiana district, will host the final ceremonies on Thursday at 11:00 AM. He wrote, "Waheguru ji (folded hands emoji)."

Rajvir Jawanda's career began in 2014 with the album Munda Like Me, and in 2016, he became well-known with Kali Jawanda Di. Hits like Kangana and Muqabla were released in 2017. Patiala Shahi Pag, Kesari Jhanda, Landlord, and Surname are just a few of the hit songs he performed after this. After making his acting debut in the Punjabi film Subedar Joginder Singh in 2018, he went on to appear in Sikandar 2, Jind Jaan, Kaka Ji, and Mindo Tehsildarni.
