Rajvir Jawanda died after battling for about two weeks in the hospital. The 35-year old Punjabi singer and actor, who is well-known for his deep voice, had been on life support since being taken to the Fortis Hospital in Mohali in a very serious condition. His fans held ardas and prayers meets in gurdwaras following his accident. In fact, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann also urged everyone on social media to pray for his recovery. Rajvir's condition did not improve despite days of observation and constant efforts by the medical experts.

Rajvir Jawanda passed away 11 days after the horrific accident, shocking his family, fans, and the Punjabi entertainment industry. Punjabi artists like Gippy Grewal, Neeru Bajwa, Parmish Verma, Sargun Mehta, Tania, Badshah, and many more have expressed their condolences on social media. 

Gippy Grewal expressed his grief after late actor and 'brother' Rajvir passed away. He said, "This has made my heart go Empty Waking up to this terrible news is unbearable. My brother Rajvir, your last days were so difficult you showed such strength. You will forever remain in our hearts, memories, and souls."

Neeru Bajwa shared a smiling picture of Rajvir Jawanda on Instagram and wrote, "It is very painful to leave the happy and kind person Rajveer like this, goodbye dear Rajveer. Heartbroken by the tragic loss of such a young and promising life. Sending deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of @rajvirjawandaofficial. May you find strength and peace during this unimaginable time. Gone far too soon, but never forgotten."

Parmish Verma penned an emotional on Instagram, which read, "Rajvir Jawanda Bai nu sirf RIP naal nahi VIDA kar sakde, aapne Subha, Kala, Mehnat, Junoon, ZindaDili, Pyaar, te Adab naal, Jo zindagi Jee ke Gia hai, Oh Sade Sareyan Layi kisse Prerna ton ghatt Nahi. Kaash eh kisse supne wang gal Jhooth ho jawe, te Bai da Hasda Chehra Muhre aa Jawe, te Bai kahe k Mata Makhian Cutt k paunia? Sending strength to the late singer's family, Sargun Mehta wrote, "Gone far too soon. Your voice will echo through Punjab forever. May Waheguru bless your soul and give strength to your family. R.I.P @rajvirjawandaofficial."

Manish Sisodia, an Indian politician, sent his deepest sympathies to the millions of fans, friends, and family of the late singer. "Deeply saddened by the untimely passing of Rajvir Jawanda. Gone too soon, but his soulful voice will live on in every heartbeat of Punjab. My heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and millions of fans. May Waheguru bless his soul with eternal peace," he wrote on X (earlier Twitter).

Well-known Punjabi actor Himanshi Khurana shared a picture of the late singer and wrote, "Rip friend Rajvir Jawanda," along with three heartbreak emojis.

Harbhajan Mann, who is an Indian-Canadian singer, actor and film producer associated with Punjabi industry, wrote on X, "Guru mehar kare, chotte veer Rajvir Jawanda di sehatyabi layi dilon ardas benti," with a hand fold emoji.

Arvind Khanna, Vice President, BJP Punjab expressed his grief and wrote on X, "Deeply saddened by the untimely demise of Rajvir Jawanda. A voice that touched millions has fallen silent yet his songs will echo forever in Punjab’s soul. Prayers for strength to his family and loved ones.  Waheguru ji grant his soul eternal peace."

Rajvir Jawanda started his musical career in 2014 with the tune Munda Like Me. His soulful voice and lyrics that celebrated Punjabi culture and pride raised him to stardom. The singer initially wanted to be a police officer but decided to pursue his passion towards music, as per his official Apple Music biography. He has made significant contributions to Punjabi cinema in addition to his music career.

The Punjabi singer starred in Subedar Joginder Singh, starring Gippy Grewal in 2018 and Mindo Taseeldarni in 2019. His roles in these movies further solidified his reputation in the Punjabi entertainment industry by showcasing his range as an entertainer.
