What We Know About Ramayana So Far?

Ramayana co-producer Namit Malhotra revealed that the budget of the movie is approximately Rs 4,000 crore. On July 3, 2025, a three-minute preview of Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana was released. Ranbir Kapoor's calm and collected portrayal of Lord Rama contrasted sharply with Yash's fierce and fiery appearance as Ravana. Additionally, it provides a glimpse of Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu, and Lord Brahma, all of whom alluded to the film's broader mythological theme. Ranbir, climbing a tree and brandishing a bow and arrow were among the striking images in the video.

Several attendees expressed their thoughts after seeing the first sight of the teaser after it was revealed in the US. While many were enthralled with the film's spectacular visuals, others praised Ranbir Kapoor's powerful presence. One of the many users said - "Audience went silent at the scale, music, and #Ranbir’s Rama entry on the boat - pure goosebumps moment." Another user revealed, "The teaser focused on Ram, Sita, Lakshman and a little bit of Ravana. Excited for the movie."
