The controversy surrounding Ranveer Singh and FWICE over exit from Farhan Akhtar's Don 3 has been intensifying with each passing day. The rift has reached the courts, with Singh sending legal notice to the film workers' body over its recent non-cooperation directive against him, according to a report by NDTV.

While the exact legal demands within the notice remain confidential, the development marks a major turning point in the high-stakes dispute. The root of the conflict traces back to Ranveer's reported exit from the highly anticipated film Don 3, which is directed and produced by Farhan Akhtar under the Excel Entertainment banner.

The situation intensified last week when the FWICE issued a public notice revealing that Farhan Akhtar and co-producer Ritesh Sidhwani had formally approached the organisation for intervention. The producers sought action over Ranveer's alleged sudden withdrawal from the mega-project at an advanced stage of its production.

Addressing the media at a press conference, FWICE advisor Ashoke Pandit had claimed, "None of our workers or members, across all crafts, will work on any of his projects. We have requested that all producers take a stand, join us in solidarity, speak out against this conduct, and make a firm decision."

Meanwhile, Singh responded via an official spokesperson and addressed the allegations. The statement read, "Ranveer Singh holds the highest regard for the film fraternity and for everyone associated with the Don franchise. Throughout the recent developments surrounding Don 3, he has consciously chosen to maintain silence, believing that professional discussions and personal equations are best handled with dignity, maturity and mutual respect."
