Saif Ali Khan has spoken out about the recent knife attack at his Mumbai home, which resulted in several stab wounds close to his spine and a week-long hospital stay. Saif's calm demeanor, wearing trousers and a white shirt, provoked a range of responses after his release. On social media, some people questioned the event's validity, while others applauded his tenacity.

Saif Ali Khan recently spoke out on Two Much With Kajol and Twinkle about the horrific knife incident that occurred at his Bandra residence. He disclosed that the intruder's knife had even nicked Jeh.

Saif Ali Khan recalled, "Kareena had been out, and I had just finished watching a movie with the boys (Taimur and Jeh). So, we went to sleep quite late, around two in the morning. After Kareena returned, we had a small chat before we turned in. Then, the maid came in and she said - 'Jeh baba ke kamre mein koi hai. Uske haath mein chaaku hai aur bol rahe hai usko paisa chahiye.' I kind of heard that and rolled out of bed. I barged into Jeh’s room in the dark, and I saw this guy standing over his bed with a knife."

Saif disclosed that Jeh and his nanny both had cut marks from the man's excessive movement when Akshay Kumar questioned whether the attacker was pointing his knife at Jeh.

Why Saif Ali Khan Refused Wheelchair Post Surgery?

Saif Ali Khan revealed that after being released from the hospital, he refused to go in an ambulance back home. He said, "We walked into the hospital, and they were sleepy in the emergency area. I told a guy, 'Can we get a stretcher?' He said, 'Wheelchair?' I said, 'No, I think I need a stretcher.' He said no. And then finally I said, 'Hey', because he wasn't waking up, 'I'm Saif Ali Khan. It's a medical emergency'. And we went, 'Oh.' "Then you know all the pandemonium broke loose."

Akshay Kumar quipped, "Hats off to you for fighting. It was so brave of you. It doesn't happen, let me tell you, you have been a real hero, at least for your son and your family."

Saif Ali Khan explained why, on his way home from the hospital, he chose not to use an ambulance. He also explained why, in his opinion, it would be preferable to get home from the hospital without using a wheelchair or an ambulance. "When it was finished, there were some people from there and a lot of advice on how to go. The media was curious. Nobody was listening to me. I said, 'If the media is curious, we should settle it. Let me just walk out of the hospital because I can walk'."

The actor shared, "It was very bad. But it was ok. They stitched it up, and I was there for a week. The back was okay, and it was painful to walk, but I could walk. The wheelchair was not required. Then somebody said, 'You should go in an ambulance,' somebody said, 'You should go in a wheelchair.' My instinct was, why create any kind of panic or worry, even with family, fans, well-wishers, anyone? And just walk out to send a picture message, that you're okay. That was the idea. But then there was so much feedback on that, 'This is fake and that's true."
