Ahaan Panday, cousin of actress Ananya Panday, is all set to make his Bollywood debut in the upcoming romantic movie Saiyaara. He will be seen opposite Aneet Padda in the love story. Produced by Yash Raj Films (YRF) and directed by Mohit Suri, the movie is slated for release on July 18, 2025. Ahead of the big release, reports claim that the teaser for the movie will be released this week. A report in Bollywood Hungama stated that Saiyaara teaser will drop on the internet on May 30, 2015.
In April, Yashraj Films made the announcement and shared a post on social media that read, “Theirs is a love story like no other… #Saiyaara starring @ahaanpandayy and @aneetpadda_ releasing in theatres, worldwide, July 18, 2025!" Fans were quick to react, as one user wrote, “Happy for Aneet..good work yrf." Another fan commented, “Heart’s doing little happy jumps.." Ananya Panday also shared the announcement and wrote, “Welcome to the movies my brother @Ahaanpandayy."

Meanwhile, much of the shots were filmed in 2024, according to a report in Bollywood Hungama, and in February this year, Mohit Suri shot a music festival sequence with 1,000 background artists at Vrundavan Studios in Malad, Mumbai. “Ahaan Panday was seen performing on stage and the crowd got mesmerised by his performance. In the middle of his performance, Ahaan also jumps from the stage to further woo the audience," added the report.
On the other hand, according to a report in IANS, “It is the Gen Z era now, and so it is highly likely that the next big star of India will be from this generation, someone who is relatable to today’s youth. With Aditya Chopra feeling that Ahaan is a strong contender for this level of stardom, all eyes will be on the young boy to see how he can floor everyone with his first film." The report further claimed, “Ahaan has shown that he chooses to stay away from the public gaze in recent years to only focus on improving his craft and that goes well with the YRF ethos because the company always bets on talent and sincerity."
